CHILDREN´S SATURDAYS at the Opera

Welcome to a magical visit at the Royal Swedish Opera - experience our popular Children's Saturdays!

During our 250 years' Jubilée in 2023, we present three new activities for our Children's Saturdays; an anniversary concert in the Golden Foyer, try out baroque dancing and try out opera singing. As in previous years, you can also take part in a guided tour of the Opera House and try on costumes from the Opera's magical costume archives or try out ballet in our ballet studios. We promise several memorable experiences for the whole family.

The activities are recommended for children from 5 years and onwards, in the company of adults.

FEBRUARY 11

TRY OUT BALLET
Learn more about the art of ballet and try a real ballet class!
Approx. 50 mins.

At 10, 10.45 & 11.30 a.m. (Studion, via main entrance)
For children between 4 and 6 yrs at 10 a.m.
For children between 7 and 9 yrs at 10.45 a.m.
For children between 7 and 9 yrs at 11.30 a.m.

FEBRUARY 25

THE OPERA 250 YEARS - CONCERT
Experience music from baroque to contemporary through artists and orchestra.
Approx. 30 mins.

MARCH 4

TRY OUT BAROQUE DANCE
Learn more about baroque dance and feel what it is like to dance in a costume!
Approx. 80 mins.

GUIDED TOUR & TRY ON COSTUMES
